The Selection Committee is set up to reflect the community as well as include experts in public art and urban design. We included residents of both Downtown Wheaton and the surrounding neighborhoods. We researched demographics using data from the 2020 Census and were mindful of the characteristics of the neighborhood and the Wheaton area.
